Feline Wisdom

I guess I am doing fine
In the company of a feline
While I nurse an ache of yore
That refuses to leave without a sore
I had seen days that were much worse
But now enlightened to have no remorse
With consciousness not drifting away from the now
Amidst past and future immune feline’s unmistakable love

Work Mantra

It is great to be on a job
And not to be labeled a slob
Doing the daily chores without a care
Treading in places where eagles dare
I want my days to be thoroughly used up
Before I can finally hang my boots up

Good is God

What is good is God
If good is alive, so is God
A God we fail to recognize or see
A God in you and a God in me
As long as I am good to your God, and you to mine,
The World need not be bereft of a force divine
As long as our belief in the God within does not cease,
We will find solace in the power of inner peace.
